Victoria Wallop Jewellery
104 Alfriston Road SW11 6NW
An array of sterling silver jewellery awaits you at Victoria Wallop’s venue on Alfriston Road. Victoria works to commission so, as it’s near Christmas why not commission something handmade locally?
'I make sterling silver jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques, from my home in Battersea. I usually work to commission, creating personalised pieces but I also have a small range of ready to wear jewellery.
I’m inspired by things that make me smile, whether it’s a favourite sweet or the song ‘What Does The Fox Say?’
I often incorporate found objects in my work, such as little religious charms which were once precious to someone, but have been since been discarded. I also like to take materials, like safety pins, which have no intrinsic value, and create something pretty and fun to wear.'
Victoria's Alfriston Road venue is 5 minutes from Northcote Road and just off the South Circular. It's a mere 10 minute walk to Julia Matcham's venue at 124 Chatham Road so do try to visit both artists if you can.
