64 Liz Denton
Liz Denton is fascinated by the interplay between the natural and the man-made. Following her magpie instinct, she collects objects that are weathered and time worn, from pathway, skip or beach. These inspire her drawings that define otherwise vague landscapes or interiors using layers, tone, gridlines and datum points.
Recently her work has been inspired by her trekking in Nepal, as well as more down to earth Eastbourne, still focussing on layering and mapping space.
She is sharing her studio with two further artists, Judith Thomson and Sue Noble who work in photography, painting, drawing and collage.
